That's where their wrong kennr...BHP has been bested by Forrest once again. History has repeated itself and BHP has received their slice of humble pie following such an arrogant display of bad manners at the table. They walked in thinking they owned the joint and found out quickly that they did NOT. Was this all just some sort of act just to get their foot in the door and make their way in...More than likely. The Noront BOD knew the pink slips were coming, and we're probably hopeful that BHP would fix that, and at the same time raise the value of the shares they had been gifting themselves for a job NOT well done all these years.
Wyloo came onboard with their informal offer to test the waters followed by BHP's formal offer to start this supposed fight. Posturing to say the least, and pathetic if you want to call this a takeover, or even a bidding war...More like a slap fight. BHP had to have known they were wasting their time. JC...If they were serious from the get go we wouldn't have see these pennies being thrown around..No..I think the talks between Wyloo and BHP went like this, " Here's what we think the Ring is worth...Pay it BHP and it's yours. If you don't then this will drag on forever and you know you will not win. Each time we, Wyloo, talk about the Ring we will make sure everyone knows how priceless we feel it is. Anything below this and we will not tender, and neither will anyone else because we will once again tell everyone how valuable the Ring is. So...Here's the deal. Stay on as a shareholder and we'll make it worth your while. You'll both make and save money. We will promise you offtake as a preferred buyer and give you a special discount on bulk orders..Take it or leave it...But Noront and the Ring of Fire are ours...Have a Merry Christmas...Let us know how we can do business together in the New Year...The exit is thata way. I don't believe any other offers will be coming for Noront, because just like BHP those who bid against Forrest will face the same fate of being stricken by the "Wyloo Voodoo".
