Yes...Something good should happen. Marten Falls and Webequie who are the proponents of the N/S road will finally be asked to comment about this obvious jurisdictional issue that has to be resolved. Neskantaga is looking for the best of both worlds here, IMO, by asking people to listen to what they say and look away from what they do. Again, I have to comment on the hypocrisy of Neskasntaga's Chris Moonias when he conveniently avoids telling everyone that they have a gold mining project in their jurisdiction; Northern Superior Resources, TPK deposit.
I hope that gets mentioned in court....Were Marten Falls and Webequie consulted over this? I wonder. Especially, with the watershed closest to Northern Superiors proposed drilling and mining at the Big Dam deposit being so close to Attawapiskat Lake. A lake which is the source of all water flowing down the Attawapiskat River. Here...Let me show you, and feel free to magnify what you can't see. Notice also how an E/W road, if allowed and built on the taxpayer's dime, would pass by quite nicely past Northern Superior's TPK mine site. Gee...Neskantaga is so lucky to have a mining agreement with Northern Superior...But I guess all this complaining has nothing to do with this. Nor does that fact that any benefit they would receive from the Ring of Fire might be less than that received by those whose jurisdiction it lies in...
Oh...and just a physics reminder to Chief Moonias...Water flows downstream...NOT up, and Northern jet streams generally move west to east; airborne diesel pollutants.
