In last weeks press release, NOT said: “Noront has heard nothing from Wyloo since receiving improved BHP offer.”

Seems like a rather curious comment for a press release.

If the BOD has indeed “heard nothing from Wyloo”, shouldn’t they be on the phone to Wyloo to confirm, without question, Wyloo's intentions following BHP’s latest offer? Don’t they have a fudiciary duty to do so - to maximize shareholder value?

I’m pretty sure that if my CEO asked me how negotiations were going and I said “I haven’t heard anything from XXX”, he’d tell me to get off my butt and get them on the phone ASAP.
