More important than the share price is the market cap.

I believe voisey bay was taken out by INCO for about $3.5 Billion, at a time when nickel was trading for about $3.00 a pound.

I believe this all happened before there was any infrastructure or deal with the area first nations as well. 

Later on, INCO was taken out at a premium as well by VALE.

The current bid for Noront is less than $1/2 Billion.

Nickel price is now about $9 a pound. 

I'm just going from memory here, so if there is anything above that is not correct, please feel free to weigh in.
