Now who better than Vale to be the third possible wheel quietly courting Noront.  Going deeper at Voisey in search of the good stuff needed for batteries.  Yes there may be another decade or so of nickel there but what about the next century?  Vale does not fool around with public spats like our Aussie friends.  Boy could Vale give those Aussies a real battle for Noront.  Voisey II?

Vale has good connections to Noront with Pollesel....

John Pollesel was appointed to the Board of Directors on June 7, 2017. Mr. Pollesel is currently CEO for Boreal Agrominerals Inc. and has more than 30 years of experience in the mining industry. He has been a member of several executive teams responsible for operations, engineering/projects, finance/administration, strategic planning and leading organizational transformation. In his previous role as Chief Operating Officer and Director for Vale’s North Atlantic Operations, John was responsible for one of the largest mining and metallurgical operations in Canada. Prior to Vale, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Compania Minera Antamina in Peru. He currently serves as the Board of Directors Chairman for First Cobalt Corp.,

From FCC....John Pollesel has over 30 years of experience in mining and most recently was Senior Vice President, Mining at Finning Canada. He was previously COO and Director of Base Metals Operations for Vale's North Atlantic Operations, where he was responsible for the largest underground mining and metallurgical operations in Canada. Prior to this, he was Vice President and General Manager for Vale's Ontario Operations.

Pollesel has a big in at Vale.  FCC has stated they will like to process nickel as well as cobalt and has hinted at a symbiotic relationship.

This seems in the realm of possibilities IMO.

Go at it boys and may the company who realizes the true value of Noront emerge the winner.  Half of me wants to be bought out for what Noront is really worth and the other half wants to take this for a ride to production.  With the talk of Wyloo allowing us to stay on and Vale hinting at a merger with the formation of a new base metal company it seems we may get a chance to ride this rising phoenix to production.
