With the frequent comparisons being made by Stan and others, I felt it prudent to re-visit the Voisey bay story and the bidding war that ensued. In the history section of the infographic at the above link I it tells the following story:
"In 1947, Teck's founder Norman Keevil Sr. was one of the first to use magnetic survey technology that wa first employed by the US military to find submarines. With this technology, he found one of he richest copper deposits in Canada.
He onced impressed a plan load of investors by flying them over a 150-foot copper vein that was exposed to the air. It shone like a newly minted penny as they passed over, stunning even the most skeptical investors.
He had previously parachuted a crew in to polish the ore."
Now THAT is a CEO!
I can only imagine what the bids would be if Norman, Richard, or even Frank was at the helm of Noront. Its shameful to see how little Wes has done to promote this company and the opportunities of the Ring. If the share price gets anywhere near a reasonable value, it will be in spite of him, not because of him. FIRE COUTTS!!
