Not sure about strings, other than what I said in my last post - I don't see how a New Noront would not suffer the same fate.

I also don't think BHP is out, there's too much at stake. Where else can you buy $60+B value for peanuts?

If Wyloo has submitted a written offer, or when they do, then the BOD will have no choice but to back it until BHP counters with something better for all shareholders. That would also be BHP's opportunity to scrap any sweeteners they gave the BOD.
