Message: The Need to Revive North America's Critical Minerals Production Capacity

https://twitter.com/PierrePoilievre/status/1412373261791334404

Let's take it back from China, and create EVs with ESG standards in mind. I believe the industry here in North America has the opportunity to improve where China has not, and set a new standard for the global production of zero emission vehicles. Starting from scratch could be in our favour as we regain our own National Security, and quit relying on China to do it for us.

How green are electric cars? Let's look under the hood.

Watch the video at Pierre's twitter feed. He may not have things right but he does point some short comings in the industry, discover a bit about North American history, and realize the threat of China's dominance. The overlying message being that if your polluting while producing EVs then there is no real gain. I would have to agree. But allowing other countries with unethical practises and questionable ESG standards to produce what the world is seeking is not the answer. In North America's case they have the ability to re-invent the wheel, so to speak, and take back what we once had.
