It's clear that the market believes that there is another offer coming. Given BHP isn't in this for loose change (e.g. the break up fee) I think an counter offer is a given. Add in Wyloo's statement that 'I'm going to clear out NOT's board and management' Coutt's and crowd are going to be motivated to see anyone but Wyloo win. Sounds like this may get nasty which is good for us retail shareholders.
