Form a partnership with all of Matawa. There is no Ring of Fire without Indigenous consent. Years of struggling with the First Nations has taken its toll. Forrest may have a voice, and the money to buyout Noront, but what good is a mining company when you can't mine due to strong First Nation opposition. There is no doubt in my mind that the Ring of Fire can be productive within the next 2-3 years if certain things are satisfied. Everything can be fast tracked if everyone can get along without trying to take advantage of one another.
These cheap shots across Noront's bow by these Australian mining moguls shows that nothing has changed. They still believe that Native people do not matter. Nor do the shareholders of a once in a lifetime resource whose time and patience has lead to them being insulted by pompous windbags who do not show proper respect when it comes to fairness, and valued investors. If Wyloo, or BHP, want cooperation they first need First Nation consent. Second, a deal with shareholders to gain both money and shares in the "New Noront". Something where we shareholders have the opportunity to continue on with surrender of current Noront shares to participate in the " New Noront " under a new owner, or to cash out if we choose not to wait another 2- 3 years more....Something to think about there Coutts. Make the deal enticing. NOT insulting.
But again...The quicker Matawa gets onboard the sooner this Ring of Fire can moves foward. Buying the company only gets you halfway there...And judging by Matawa they are looking for partnership, a degree of control, and most of all a fair deal...So too are us shareholders....So smarten up mate.
