Lets revive this web site, this week.
My back of the envelope current NOT share ownership calculates that Retail/independent currently control a tightly held 40%of the NOT of shares. (+/- 2.5%).
This Assumes Wyloo @37.4%; GHB @ 4.5%; NOT board 9%; Baosteel @9%.
IF a minimum 51% Noront share control objective is still GHB's objective;
THEN, GHB must acquire (most or all) of Baosteel and NOT board votes, plus all of the retail shares' vote. Assuming my envelope scratchings are close, it appears that the outcome will be governed by the Sept 20 Canadian election outcome.
National Security; Long term jobs; High tech Battery manufaturing in Ontario for a century of Ontario/Canada national security.
Which candidate is capable of quiding the correct descision.?
Canadian voters should descide this, not China, IMO.
