We are in the process of building a structured plan for the rail transport corridor. I do not have a definitive date (being fully transparent as you will come to appreciate that I will share facts with interested individuals, not speculation). As for the rail corridor, we are still in the review stage of the usage of heavy-haul rail or the Rail-Veyor technology. We are taking many variables into consideration on this decision, with key decisions based upon the least-intrusive effect on the environment and the socio-economic benefits to the First Nations and the Ring of Fire. I am presently building the project plan that will be shared with all key stakeholders as we continue on this journey. For information purposes, a heavy haul rail build from Nakina to the Ring of Fire will take approximately three years. If there is road access we can do the rail build from multiple locations which will reduce the time lines. Rail-Veyor can be built in a much quicker time line (less than a year), and again, with road access the time lines are shortened. Soon, you will see a simulation on the website that will show the Rail-Veyor in action and you will come to appreciate why this technology is being considered.
