Mick Davis has created Vision Blue to invest in battery materials. His first choice was Nextsource for battery grade graphite anode material. He says every battery will have graphite going forward. Next also has vanadium down the pipeline. The second investment is in Ferro alloy Rrsources, a vanadium play.
Recently NEXT has brought on board Ian Pierce of Xstrata Nickel. Mick is chairman of the board. It seems that Mick is recreating Xstrata all over again?

Mr. Pearce is the former CEO of Xstrata Nickel, and prior to that was the former COO of Falconbridge Limited, which was acquired by Xstrata Plc in 2006. Xstrata Plc's acquisition of Falconbridge was one of the largest mining takeovers globally and one of the largest takeover bids in Canadian history.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Falconbridge_Ltd.
At the time of the Xstrata takeover, Falconbridge had major operations in and around the Sudbury Basin, including the Craig, Fraser, and Thayer Lindsley underground copper/nickel mines, as well as a mill (Strathcona), nickel smelter, sulfuric acid plant, and a technology centre.
Another Canadian operation was the Kidd Mine site in Timmins, Ontario which includes an underground zinc/copper mine, mill, copper smelter and copper refinery, zinc plant, indium plant, cadmium plant, and sulfuric acid plants. Falconbridge also operated the Montcalm underground nickel mine west of Timmins. Other sites were located in Quebec, Ontario (Rouyn-Noranda: Horne copper smelter, Montreal: CCR copper refinery, Salaberry-de-Valleyfield: CEZ zinc refinery, Nunavik: Raglan underground nickel/copper mine and mill) and Bathurst, New Brunswick (Brunswick underground zinc/lead mine, lead smelter and lead refinery, and silver refinery).
========================================================
So now we have what seems like Xstrata rising from the ashes. Mick will need a major nickel deposit to add to his battery metals arsenal. With the addition of Pierce who is very familiar with the Sudbury basin and by default the Ring.
What better asset than the ring of fire for a phoenix to rise out of???
Mick already has NEXT placed in the Tesla supply chain. Elon could sure use some local Nickel as well for his batteries. What a perfect trifecta.
Please let our white night be Micky with a deal like NEXT received.
