Interesting look into the man who wants Noront.
Like Mick a falling out with Glencore motivates him. Ironic that he resented BHP and Rio mining in Australia and having a monoploy and went to court to fight it to build Fortescue. Also how he got his deals with China. Now the Chinese and Fortescue have a 'healthy' relationship. Forrest does have great experience with rail.... building it with record speed. 3 billion in aboriginal contracts. Mining on their land and building aboriginal companies. He has a PHD in marine ecology and gets global climate science. Looking to go Green with Hydrogen to produce energy and reduce impurities in metal like met coal. Carbon neutral by 2030. He wants to be the largest Renewable energy company and possibly the largest energy company.
Now can be the time for BHP to exact their revenge. BHP is now in Toronto looking for nickel. They have partnered with Midland to look for nickel in Quebec. Maybe it is the time to partner with Noront or at least make a competing bid?
