From June 2011....

Baosteel has also been granted a 90-day exclusivity period to negotiate a direct property interest and/or off-take agreement with respect to any of Noront’s properties with such exclusivity period to commence any time prior to production at Noront’s discretion.

Kwg has leaked....
Added KWG CEO, Frank Smeenk, "We suspect it has not been lost on the USA-Canada Critical Minerals Task Force that China's pre-emptive right to acquire Noront assets, or production from them, was recently relinquished by Baosteel,
KWG had previously stated......
The Company also announces that it is negotiating terms for the acquisition of previously issued shares of Noront Resources Ltd. ("Noront") in exchange for Redeemable Preferred shares of Canada Chrome Corporation ("CCC") bearing a 10% cumulative annual dividend payable in Units.
===================================================
The question is why is KWG all up in Noront's business? Are they working in concert?
Baosteel must have gained something to give up the first rights to Nickel, chromite etc. I guess Baosteel could have kept their Noront shares and just given up the first rights to get things going?
Could KWG be working with Noront to get the ring going and traded baosteel's Noront shares for CCC shares for some reason?
Next we wait for a Noront NR....if we see Bao off the board we know that their shares and hence their need to be on the board is gone. Meaning Bao has taken a large stake in CCC as an alternative to never being able to see a return on their investment. It may have been this or the prospect that funding for the ring would never come? Again KWG seems to have hinted at this...
We anticipate this will pave the way for development of this critical chromite bank-in-the-ground for the national security of the USA and reinforce its role in global trade.
To me it seems the ring is in Noront's court to see what happens to Bo Liu of Baosteel and his position on the board. If he is gone then this seems to make sense. If he stays on the board I am lost as to whose shares KWG was targeting.
If anybody sees a clear path the explain all these 'coincidences' please share.
