Have a look at this website.....KWG looks to haul for all ring companies. Fund their own mine with US investment?

The need for a rail link to move the material from the Ring of Fire to a location where it can be processed is critical for all mining companies in the Ring of Fire. The Ring of Fire wetlands requires commitment to a very small footprint, where operations are mostly performed underground. The crushed, un-processed, run-of-mine chromite ore, taken from underground to the surface results in very little disturbance above ground. A small mine footprint would not be possible without the economies of scale that come with rail transportation, enabling economic movement of large volumes of un-processed chromite ore. Even chromite concentrate requires rail transport due to the nature of this heavy bulk commodity. Canada Chrome Corporation is exploring two options for the rail transport of the chromite ore, a traditional heavy haul railroad or utilizing the technology of Rail-Veyor, a Sudbury-based company that specializes in shuttle systems to move product.
The main reason to utilize a heavy-haul freight railroad is that of CO2 emissions – on comparison, trains produce 75% less GHGs than trucks. The environmental factor is core to the decision that trucks are not an acceptable mode of transportation. Dust particles raised by trucks simply add to the environmental concerns. Safety – rail is exponentially safer than trucking. It is unfathomable to think that hundreds of trucks daily on a gravel road is a safe way to transport the materials from the Ring of Fire. Economically, the costs clearly dictate that rail is the choice of transporting products. The gravel road will not endure the effects of the trucks travelling up and down the road daily – the maintenance and upkeep would be extreme, and it would be irresponsible to expect that taxpayers’ money should pay for the costs of maintaining the road damages caused by commercial trucks. Therefore, from the economic point of view, rail is much less expensive than trucking. Rail is much more reliable than trucking simply due to the fact the trains travel on their own right of way and can operate 24 hours per day. As the output increases at the Ring of Fire, rail is scalable. Adding another train or adding a bunch of railcars is why rail is such a great option – adding hundreds of trucks is simply a non-starter for all of the reasons stated above.
Rail-Veyor provides an all-electric fully autonomous shuttle system with multiple trains and software management system, resulting in the lowest OPEX haulage solution with the shortest timeline to implementation. Rail-Veyor CAPEX costs are significantly lower than other modes of transportation. Rail-Veyor provides the greatest environmental, social, and economic benefits to move product from the Ring of Fire.
Rail-based transportation is your safest, most cost-effective, and most environmentally-sensitive way to ship. We believe transportation of freight and people by rail will continue to play an integral role in the low-carbon future for Canada and CCC has the opportunity to be a leader in this transformation as we are starting out with a “new-build”. Climate change is a serious challenge and CCC will take a leading role in the move towards decarbonization.
Environmentally Responsible
Fuel Efficient
Safer Than Trucks
Cost Effective
Reliable, Scalable
Stable Employment
Canada Chrome Corporation (CCC) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of KWG Resources Inc. CSE-KWG & KWG.A. CCC staked claims and commissioned a rail feasibility study to establish a transportation route between the Ring of Fire and a connection with CN Rail’s east/west mainline near Nakina, Ontario. This economic development corridor will be transformational for the First Nations in this area. What we do to help these communities will make Canada stronger, and will set the tone for the rest of the north for sustainable development. CCC is committed to doing the right thing from start to finish. CCC is committed to respecting the land, and the land-owners upon which the corridor will traverse. CCC believes in corporate responsibility that results in environmental, social, and governance principles that will lead to long-term sustainability. CCC’s role as the transporter of the material from the Ring of Fire will allow for the unlocking of tremendous opportunities for the First Nations – this is something we look forward to.

Data analysis software will improve our ability to enhance safety, reliability and service. Next generation automation technology will continue to reduce the impact of human error and human limitations on railroad operations.
The impact of hydrogen could be a game-changer. Hydrogen freight locomotives will be reality in the next few years. As for the mining operations, KWG is exploring the usage of hydrogen as the key source of power which would result in a drastically reduced environmental footprint – this is exciting and it is possible!
