2021 PC budget: "Ring of Fire" of fire does not appear, obviously no road access funding

2018 Liberal budget: $1 billion for Ring of Fire access road

This Ford budget is $5 billion less than last year's budget ($177.8 billion v $173 billion). It is only $11 billion (6%) higher than 2019-2020.

What a wasted opportunity, they had the covid cover to go legacy shopping and spend big on public infrastructure, light a fire under the economy and get people back in jobs and drag this province into the decarbonization supercycle.

Extraordinary times and all that. Ford's government has budgeted this recovery as 6% more extraordinary than 2019-2020.

Maybe they're saving the big spend for next March before the June 2022 election. Maybe then there'll be big money spent on road access to the Ring. Photo op of Ford on a bulldozer.
