All I can say is this....When they finally get everyone on board, and know what they are doing, they had better not do a "half assets" job. Seems we have a few stragglers. One being the US with Biden yet to come across the border. Second, being Algoma who still has unfinished business to deal with that ends in June...and third, the dissidents of Matawa, and those of Mushkegowuk, who are not happy with their pie slices. I would have to agree with merjr. This has less to do with environmental issues, and more to do with whose making money, and how much.
I mean...Really !?!? Don't talk about the environment and then continue to blow diesel into the sky as you worry about how much pollution a company who is ESG compliant will make. There is a big difference between those who know what their talking about and how they will monitor the effects of pollution, and those who are just blowing smoke. If it's money you're after stand up and talk. If it's about the effects of diesel power generation, waste disposal, and how this can all be managed when mining happens in the Ring...Well...Sit back and listen. This is where your old traditional ways meets real science...Because I can guarantee your elders, and yourself included, know very little about diesel, garbage dumps in the forest, and the disposing of toxic waste, and the pollution it causes.
