Well said, and I agree with you 100%.

Telling the truth is not always a common practise in this country, nor do people call out those who tell lies. Somehow this is deemed to be socially unacceptable, politically incorrect, or viewed as prejudice nowadays. In the case of the First Nations I can say this...For once I would like them to try to forgive what our ancestors did, instead of always digging up old bones. If they want a new relationship with the rest of Canada they must leave the past alone and start anew. They are not the only people that have been oppressed throughout history, but to harbour such a grudge against everyone who is not First Nations is wrong.

My tax dollars, and yours, have allowed them to stay isolated in their remote domains away from the rest of Canada.. To live on their, "Traditional Lands". Being so far removed from the rest of Canadian society has made them self-centered; IMO. For each time they speak it is only about themselves....As if the rest of people in Canada don't exist. For once, I would like to hear from the First Nations that I matter too...I think that they have forgotten that.

In order to forge new paths everyone has to be honest with themselves, and about who they are, and how they plan to make a difference. Complaining about the past gets you nowhere.
