Over his more than 11 years of covering mining and mineral exploration, Shane has become renowned for his ability to report on the sector in a way that is technically sound enough to inform industry insiders while being easy to understand by a wider audience.
Well, apparently Shane here has no problem with misdirecting his readers, and industry insiders, into believing that there is absolutely no chromium to be found in the Americas. Only hints of the stuff. Yup. That strategic metal for defense that the USGS has on their "Critical Minerals List" is absolutely nowhere to be found in great quantities on this side of the pond. Not even in Alask'r; use American accent.
So...You've been writing for 11 years, Shane, to industry insiders nonetheless, and you haven't heard of the Ring of Fire. Shane, Shane, Shane...That is the biggest mining load I have heard of. My fellow forum members, this is one of the best examples of investor misdirection that I have seen, as of late. We are getting closer to the prize every day, and our neighbors to the South need it badly. They will see to it that the Ring of Fire comes to its fruition; chromium=stainless steel=US National Security and Defense=US infrastructure. When you have a chance check out the news in South Africa, especially that of their energy provider, Eskom, who supplies over 90% of their power..Not good. Those mining in South Africa are no doubt looking for more stable countries to move to....and the US...Well....They're looking for more domestic sources for chromium and other critical minerals. Can you say...Hello Canada..I can.
Long read....No Ring of Fire mentioned.
