Yes....I too have a light switch too that turns on & off. My point here is you can't have half of all the Indigenous communities of Canada affecting resource projects across the country, or a province, if you like, just because they don't agree with them. Nor can they agree and disagree when they feel like it; ? legally bound. If the government consults with those directly and indirectly affected (Indigenous or not), runs it through a strict permitting process, and then gives it a proper EA approval then no one has the right to interfere. Unless, however, they have just cause, which in Canada can be anything nowadays. It's getting ridiculous.
You should not be allowed to speak for others, nor tell them what to do if clearly you have no place in the conversation in the first place. These people creating this nonsense need to be told to shut up, and quit seeking opportunity to make personal gain at the expense of others. We're talking about people just trying to get ahead.
