As for the Ring of Fire, Rickford said there would be “no more regional brainwork” in the “not too distant future.” He added the province would be working with the communities in the region differently.

I believe this should read:

As for the Ring of Fire, Rickford said there would be “no more regional framework” in the “not too distant future.” He added the province would be working with the communities in the region differently.

Because, really, we all know the Ring of Fire is a no brainer. So why the brainwork :)
