Listened to the proceedings.  To me it seemed like the politicians were trying to get on the record what the Matawa need...what can be done.... to alleviate their suffering with high cost products, food, gas etc. 

Talk of the high cost of flying in produce etc not being offset by the reduced aviation fuel tax.  The winter roads not lasting as long due to climate change and the possibility they will not even be feasible due to global warming in the future.

To me it seemed like they were throwing a lot of leading questions to just get them to say they need a ROAD!!

Thoughts....

This road will be built to aid the FN communities lower costs, offset carbon footprint and allow reconciliation.....and just by some magic will allow the ring to ignite.....
