interesting to see former Xstrata COO, Ian Pearce involved.. once again with Lassonde..

Ian Pearce, an active industry advisor and champion for the Lassonde Institute, works alongside an all-women leadership team and first-ever woman director, Professor Lesley Warren(director of the Lassonde Institute of Mining), to develop a new vision for the 20-year old Institute.

The Institute was created with the financial assistance of the Canadian minerals industry, and in particular Dr. Pierre Lassonde, as well as with support from the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.

Nice to know that the Gov't of Ontario and Gov't of Canada, have such a nice relationship with Pierre Lassonde, Franco Nevada and helped provide financial support for such a worthy cause.
