Quote from Alan Coutts
...."Noront also soon plans to announce where it will base its ferrochrome plant smelter. Four Ontario cities are bidding to host the smelter, including Thunder Bay, Timmins, Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie.
That decision is expected in late July, and any gold joint-venture partnership would be announced after that, Coutts said.
“That road won’t come to fruition for five years, and our mine won’t start producing for five years,” he said, “but in the meantime, there’s all these other steps we can take that are value added.”"
Well....We have already announced the location of the smelter, and the start of bilateral agreements with those Matawa First Nations eager to participate in the advancement of roads and infrastructure to promote progress in the Ring of Fire. I guess from what Alan said back in July of last year we should expect another announcement to identify the gold partner we are looking for, since having choosen our FPF location. We desparately need something value added, as Alan has pointed out, to take us the rest of the way before any N/S road is started, and/or any EA approval is given for the Eagle's Nest.
