It is becoming clear that Matawa is divided on progress, and finding a way forward so that all can prosper will be dependent on how well they negotiate among themselves. They all have the power to move the wheels of progress forward, but few of them can discern among themselves who the drivers and passengers will be. Probably the reason why the Ring of Fire was so aptly named, because we all seem to be getting hot under the collar watching everyone drive in circles.
De Beers' unfortunate problems should not be repeated, but learned from. The sooner Matawa figures out their hierarchy in respect to proportional ownership in the Ring of Fire, or in other words Noront, the sooner this proverbial "VW Peace Van" we're all in can actually get a mov'n. Noront wants a partner in Matawa, there is no doubt about that. I think their just waiting for their new partner's baggage to clear "Traditional Customs".... :)
