I agree HC. The OCC has always been listened to, but not always are their words acted upon. No matter how logical their standpoint is, or their recommendations may be. I hope Ford is the "Bull in the China Shop" that we need to change the way Ontario does business; plow through red tape. Especially, when it comes to partnering with the Matawa First Nations, and whether that partnership involves all, or a select few. Regardless of this though, Matawa lately appears divided, and must settle their own infighting; IMO, it exists.
We know our key Ring of Fire man here is Rickford; lesser degree Fedeli. If Ford is a good leader he will follow Rickford's advice, and we will negotiate successfully with Matawa. As a businessman, if he wants Ontario to succeed it would be wise of him to listen to, and act upon, the recommendations of the OCC.
