Sybil Veenman was appointed to the Board of Directors on August 25th, 2015. Ms. Veenman is a corporate director serving on three public company boards.  She has over 20 years of mining industry experience, most recently as Senior Vice-President and General Counsel at Barrick Gold Corporation.  In addition to Noront, she sits on the board of directors of IAMGOLD Corporation and Royal Gold Inc.  Ms. Veenman holds a law degree from the University of Toronto and has completed the Institute of Corporate Directors, Director Education Program.
