Message: Accidental' gold discovery in Ring of Fire prompts Noront Resources to seek exploration partner

"Coutts estimates it will take two years for an environmental assessment on a road and an additional 2.5 years to build the road, during which time Noront plans to simultaneously begin construction of a nickel mine."

Ok, where is Noront going to get the funds to build the nickel mine in the next 5 years? Someone help me out here but I thought that I read somewhere that it would cost several "hundred million" dollars to build the mine itself, not to mention that they need a fair bit of power up there too... Generators at the beginning or is the power line going to make it by this time??

I thought the only way to move this project forward at the stage above was to partner with a major mining company? If not, then where does the money come from? Whichever way this may go forward, it should signal two very important newsworthy things:

1).   There is a "signed agreement" in place with the First Nations involved because NOBODY will spend any money on this project with that issue unresolved.

2).   Either there is somebody partnering up with Noront to fund this or Noront has found some "entity" to lend them the money at a low enough rate that will make this project viable...

These are the 2 things that I believe need to be announced in order to move our share price up substantially. They are also the 2 most important things needed before this project will begin, in "my" opinion... Once those issues are over, the road will be a by-product of that news in relation to the share price movement. I would LOVE to be proven wrong, of course!
