The study was done for the east west route.....I believe about $780000 to conclude some are worried their welfare would be cut....correct me if I'm wrong, but that's the only thing I heard coming from that road study.
i also believe this process was previously announced....now it's getting on with it..and hopes that the new government will move forward on agreements from the prior government...with marten falls in particular
So it's all good. If those along the east west route never do agree on anything, I think it's safe to say that there will just be one road and possible rail ...one or both running north south....and everything being shipped out, including the nickel will travel north south....how great would that be for Martin falls
furthermore, if it comes to that, there could be some savings on road construction anyways. The further along we move to making the north south route a done deal, the more those along the east west will feel they are being squeezed out.
So, the clock is ticking for others to step up...or accept the outcome.
