I agree with you Ringer. 

If Martin Falls, Webequie, and Nibinamik want to make a stand then they must come forward in Wynne's support.  Not the other way around.  If these Matawa communities do nothing before the election it is because they are not pleased with the current deal.  Wynne cannot use the Ring of Fire as the ace up her sleeve; a realization of mine.  But Martin Falls and Webequie can.  This is the only way Wynne can douse the flames on the Hydro One deal in the public's eyes. By diverting everyone's attention to what she has accomplished with the money from the sell-off; Ring of Fire gift of shares to First Nations.

Martin Falls and Webequie have already shown that they are willing to go rogue.  They have the power to tell the others how the Ring deal will go down.  That is why Moonias is desparately playing his bluff by asking for a new deal to be hammered out.  I doubt very much that Martin Falls and Webequie will budge on their position, for they hold all the cards.  The only thing they can do, and soon, is if they support the Liberal agenda then they must tote Wynne as their hero, and her government as the only reason the Ring of Fire is moving forward.  

The public can be swayed if, and only if, they see the money and jobs that the Ring will bring at the detriment of selling off shares of Hydro One.  Besides the government still owns over 40% of Hydro One, so really they have not lost control, only that portion of revenue.  This must be made known, and the Ring used to their advantage.  The only other alternative that I see is Federal takeover of the project, siting "National Priority".  The metal markets, just like the oil, gas, and LNG are not going to wait for us to settle all this stupidity. 

Justin has acted on Kinder Morgan.  I should hope he does the same for the Ring of Fire.
