Remember lowboy, our government has recently made the Matawa FNs (specifically Webequie and Marten Falls) the main proponents to said infrastructure within their regions.  These premier wannabes who continue to make these campaign promises of 1 billion dollars toward the Ring of Fire infrastructure are in no position to even talk about, let alone spend such money. Look at Wynne, who currently is in power and has been for some time, and tell me why she hasn't dipped into the so called 1 billion dollar promise she made long ago.  I'll tell you why.....because she too is not in control of this money.  That driver's seat is currently occupied by those Matawa FNs who are now in, and have always been,  in control. 

Yes....I firmly believe the money is there.  But it will be the First Nations who will be telling us when to spend it, and that won't be until after they have finished acting as the proponents to how the Ring of Fire will fit into their lives.  I agree with the Dutchman, the Liberals have to win this election.  If they don't, then it will be like dousing water on the Ring of Fire, and that cannot happen.  The attempt made to disrupt the Conservatives through scandal only slightly wounded them, but Wynne needs to show soon that she has the voters', and investors, pocket  books in mind.  She must unleash a plan before the election that shows the people that Ontario's future will soon be filled with prosperity for all; especially for the First Nations.  In order to pull that sort of ace out of her sleeve she will have to use the Ring of Fire card; soon.  News about a road to the Ring, and what that all means, will make putting that Ring of Fire card down possible.
