Noront Resources has a camp in the ring of fire and occasionally the staff at site get to host visitors over night. There was a delegation of federal and provincial officials visiting the communities of Webequie, Neskantaga and Marten Falls FNs. The communities of Webequie and Marten falls thought it would be a good idea for those officials to join Chief Achneepineskum (MFFN) and Councillor Roy Spense (Webequie) in showing them the camp, meet some of the workforce from the local communities and see exactly what Noront is all about. Fun visit and thats one reason I love my job
