679. Mr. Fedeli — Enquiry of the Ministry — Would the Minister of Infrastructure state how many of the 812 vacant buildings identified on page 572 of the 2017 Auditor General’s report are located in Northern Ontario. February 20, 2018.
I think both Frank and Alan would like to know the answer to that question as well..If they don't already....But why would Mr.Fedeli be so interested in specifically knowing the number of vacant buildings in Northern Ontario...Unless he is interested in knowing the Liberals next move in regard to helping either Noront &/or KWG with locating a vacant building....or factory .... in Northern Ontario fit for repurposing into a "Ferrochrome Processing Plant", or perhaps for a pilot project housing a state of the art "Natural Gas Reduction Facility" for the same purpose.
My question.....Does anyone know how to gain access to this list of 812 vacant buildings, or perhaps an idea what Northern Ontario location may have such a building suited for this type of operation. Especially, when the land that such a building sits on should already be designated as a "brownfield".
