We are presently in negotiations with our federal
counterparts. We are in negotiations with the private
sector to execute a plan that is satisfactory to the nine
Matawa chiefs.

================================

If the process with the 9 Matawa communities were not basically finished why would Rae be racing out of the country on a brand new assignmnet?  It seems unlukely he would rush off before his work was done in the 11th hour.  He leaves next week with the help of Trudeau and a special envoy posting.  It would seem the deal is done and now we wait for the correct time for the libs to bask in their ROF glory in time to generate some good vibes for the upcoming provincial election?

Tick tock ......the ring seems ready to roll.
