Europe Q4 ferro-chrome benchmark jumps 26% to $1.39/lb

The European charge and high-carbon ferro-chrome benchmark price has jumped 29 cents or 26.4% to $1.39 per lb for the fourth quarter of 2017.

The settlement was announced to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange on Friday September 22 by South African ferro-chrome producer Merafe Resources, which operates a joint venture ferro-chrome project with Glencore.
