The TPK property in the illustration appears to be greater than 15 km from the ROF. Why do I get the feeling that instead of 15km that this should have read 150km. In the presentation the proposed road connecting the TPK property to the original draft of the E-W corridor going to the Ring of Fire shows a distance of 26km. The illustrated depiction of the property's location also appears closer to Neskantaga, than it does in relation to the Ring. Neskantaga we already know is at least 100km + from the Ring, so I question the validity of this statement suggesting that this TPK deposit is 15km from the Ring, when the map clearly shows it to be far greater.
Besides, we are talking about Northern Superior having an agreement in place with Neskantaga, therefore this claim must be on Neskantaga's lands and not on the lands of those First Nations closest to the Ring; Martin Falls and Webequie. If the TPK property were this close to the Ring I would think both Webequie and/or Martin Falls would have a bone to pick with Neskantaga, which they do not, simply because they respect the fact that TPK is out of their jurisdiction.
Speaking about jurisdictions.....Why can't Neskantaga see that the Ring of Fire is clearly out of their's?
