I watched the video of the ROF announcement.... I suggest you do if you haven't already.

If you are pressed for time, go to 9:50 and you will hear Wynne say, " we have reached an agreement to build a road into the Ring of fire."
You will hear these words exactly as I have written.
When you hear Wynne say those words watch the face and actions of the Chief of Webequie.
He is not surprised and he is clapping, along with everyone else.
The chief .....days later ...came out with the Chief of Nibinamik ...to state there was a misunderstanding...there was no agreement to build this road...and that more study would be needed.
Had I been the Chief of Webequie, I would have turned to look at Wynne immediately during the press conference and would state that her words were not true.
He did not flinch and actually clapped as she said those words.
DAYS later after the price shoots up for a couple of days and then tanks...the Chief of Webequie comes out along with the Chief of Nibinamik with a completely different version of their understanding of Wynne's public news release.
They argue the road was not a done deal and that more study was needed...Yet they say this AFTER the price shoots up.
The Beardy’s & Okemasis First Nation of Saskatchewan, and the Nibinamik First Nation of Ontario, have purchased shares in NativeOne Financial Holdings LLC, the only Native-owned broker-dealer with a seat on the New York Stock Exchange. The agreement gives the two nations a presence on Wall Street, and an unprecedented voice when it comes to massive mining developments in Canada.
Proposed extractions in Ontario’s Ring of Fire, where deposits of chromium, copper, zinc, platinum, vanadium and gold have been discovered, would impact at least 13 First Nations, including Nibinamik. And Beardy’s & Okemasis is sitting on as much as $5.5 billion in natural resources, said Dennis Smith, co-founder of NativeOne.

Imagine this for a minute.
Wynne is involved in the decision making of the ROF.
Wynne and Gravelle purchase shares of a financial holding with a seat on the NYSE.
Wynne and Gravelle come out and tell us the ROF is a go. The price shoot up.
Days later they go back to media and tell us the road is not a go.
Would they not be investigated?? Would they not be suspected of working with the financial holding company and letting them know in advance of the money making plan to pump up the stock and then short it?
I agree 100% with you that this should be investigated.
The Chief of Webequie should have spoken up immediately and should not have clapped. Wynne's words were direct and in no way could have been misunderstood.
