Very good article Tinman.  Now, how do we get this to the Matawa's?   Too bad there is no road, I wanted to print it and drive it to the reserve.

Part of the issue and ignorance stems from the fact that they are an isolated community and can't see the forest from the trees.   

There are other First Nations that have done extremely well for themselves by Modernizing.  The Rama FN, Seminole Tribe down in Florida, the Mississauga of Scuggog etc have all done very well for themselves and for their people.  They had the courage and foresight to collaborate with others to develop their lands.
