I've just come back from vacation to round two of this fight for the Ring between these two groups of Matawan First Nations...The Creator must be shaking his head way up in the clouds the way these people are acting.  So much for the caring and sharing.....it looks like only greed shall prevail, without any sense of rationality.  However, I do see one group being more sensible then the other and allowing things to proceed.

 This whole road agreement is looking more and more like Nibinamik, Webequie and Martin Falls are doing their best to circumvent Neskantaga and Eabametoong.  My guess is that these two separate roads will eventually meet at the Ring of Fire without an E-W connection to Pickle Lake if Neskantaga and Eabametoong cannot agree to accept the deal that has been handed to them.  My guess is that they either accept the deal which would allow the E-W road to be built, or suffer being cut from the deal altogether and have the other three continue without them by progressing with a eastern road network to the Ring that ultimately ties the them all to Nakina.  The next quote, "Road Study" we will be seeing in my opinion will be from Webequie and Marten Falls to the Ring, with another study looking at running power lines from Quebec through the lands of the  Mushkegowuk First Nation; power supply to communities and mines.  

Iam still sitting on the fence as to whether a Northern seaport will be needed on James Bay, when all of our smelting of ores is to done in parts of Ontario so far south that the shipping of finished products would be much better served by way of the Great Lakes.
