Thank You Tequilarose for the reminder that I got through your posting at 11:11am, Neskantaga to Noront 'Cease and desist':
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/thunder-bay/noront-neskantaga-ring-of-fire-1.3723560
"The chief of a northern Ontario First Nation says he was offended and troubled earlier this month by a notice that a mining company was set to begin drilling on the community's traditional lands."
How does the Ring become their 'traditional land when Webequie is less than half distant from Ring And Marten Falls about same. So there are three owners? Did Neskantaga obtain signing off from Webequie and Marten that they have no claim on the Ring of Fire and relinquist to Neskantaga?
This community seems to have a provocative leadership and no wonder Wynne by-passed them with regard to roads.
Prophesy from Ed: Expect to have problems with them once Noront starts to build the Eagle mine.
Geez, hard to believe, Ed.
