From your post Ringer I can see that ERP is making the same move to control the North American stainless steel market.

Quote:  Remember we said ore can be exported but in the long term, our underlining principle is one of beneficiation. So they also then set-up plants. So there is a lot of interest,” he said.

Algoma could become ERP's prized jewel to the North.  The location is perfect for receiving both the supply of chromite and nickel that will eventually come from the Ring.  If this supply is coupled with their iron ore coming from the US it could complete the beneficiation process at Algoma; once ERP secures this asset.  Both the supply and processing to stainless steel could be kept cheap if one considers the Canadian dollar's value.  ERP could capitalise on using Canada to create their stainless steel empire, take the stainless back to the US, or to international markets, and effectively keep it "All American" to please Trump's new America.  All the while making ooddles of money for the real investors behind ERP.
