Message: Re: Marten Falls First Nation and Aroland First Nation Re-affirm Jurisdiction for Ri

My guess is Martin Falls and Aroland are feeling left out again. Seems the rest of Matawa has not included them in the road party, so they are complaining to the government and Noront/KWG to make sure they are invited. But I think the lack of invitation here is just a sign of how divided Matawa is amongst themselves. Clearly the government, Noront, and KWG have gone to great lengths to ensure inclusion of all FN who can benefit the most from a direct transportation corridor to the Ring, and have done their best to find eventual solutions to those like Martin Falls who are not; Aroland's involvement is ridiculous. My point is Matawa appears to have its own infighting and jealousy, because a matter such as this should have been mitagated between Martin Falls and Aroland with the rest of their brothers and sisters of Matawa. It seems each time Martin Falls and Aorland bring up this matter about not being in the forefront of the Ring transportation corridor plan everyone that is part of the solution is to blame, while the rest of Matawa stays non-existent and mute.

So tell me. Does the problem of progress lie with us, or within Matawa?

TM.
