Noront Resources Ltd closed sharply lower Thursday, dropping $0.01 or 3.23% to $0.30 and crossing below its 20-day moving average.

Although unchanged over the last five days, shares are down 17.81% for the last year to date.

This security has underperformed the S&P TSX by 25.92% during the last year
