Invest North Bay at the forefront

Invest North Bay attended last night’s Ring of Fire Round Table, part of North Bay Mining Week and presented in association with Professional Engineers Ontario and CIM Northern Gateway Branch.

Their was a great turnout for the event and those that attended were treated to insightful discussions among the panel which represented many of the key stakeholders and interests in the Ring of Fire. Located in the James Bay Lowlands region of Northern Ontario, the Ring of Fire has the potential to be one of Ontario’s largest mineral reserves, creating thousands of jobs and new infrastructure for decades to come.

The Ring of Fire mineral region could soon be developed with the help of some federal dollars.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is hinting there might be funding coming down the pipe for the Ring of Fire.

He was cryptic during his visit to Sudbury a few weeks.

“I look forward to having more to say and [make an] announcement alongside many partners in the coming months,” he said.

Invest North Bay attending events such as these will help them get in on the ground floor and give them the opportunity to showcase North Bay to all the key players and stakeholders.
