Message: Roads, not rail preferred to transport Ring of Fire chromite, miners told.

"Achneepineskum says there are still many factors to consider, “We have four pillars that we want to address and agree upon. One is environment, the other is revenue sharing, and there’s also infrastructure and community and social economic impacts."

"Achneepineskum says they are more supportive of using roads as it would connect more First Nations communities with all-weather roads."

They are supportive of roads because that is what gets them more of what they need. Rail is mostly for miners, particularly chromite miners. Should it ever appear that rail prevents or impedes a road they will block rail construction, I am convinced of that.

I do not agree with them concerning environment, they do not have any advantagious ability on that front.
Revenue sharing may be a problem also because it is debatable as to what they are entitled to if anything.

As for social impact, there certainly will be but most of it favourable provided they can manage and revamp their own past habits. It is all on them on this issue and we can do nothing about it. It is also disingenous for them to put that as a blame on us southerners.

So there are problems to be solved and most of them imho are on the shoulders of native communities.
