Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, then seeking to unseat the Conservative government, was last in Thunder Bay in October 2015, days before the federal election that put him in power.
THUNDER BAY -- Although it has yet to be officially confirmed by the Prime Minister’s Office, it is widely believed Prime Justin Trudeau will pay a post-election visit on Friday to Thunder Bay.
Sources with knowledge of his pending arrival have told tbnewswatch.com they have told the visit is happening.
Trudeau is spending Thursday in Sudbury and is expected to visit Sault Ste. Marie on Friday as well as Thunder Bay.
There is no word yet on why Trudeau will be in Northwestern Ontario.
