Optimism is back in region's mining industryMINING

By tbnewswatch.com

THUNDER BAY --After a few bad years for the mining industry in Northwestern Ontario mining experts are feeling good about 2016.

The Northwestern Ontario Prospector's Association's two-day Mines and Minerals Symposium gives companies in the mining industry a chance to sell materials for exploration or properties to junior companies.

It also provides a platform for sharing ideas with other professionals. While no one is expecting a huge industry turn around there was certainly a sense of moving in the right direction. Executive director Garry Clark said everything looks to be right on track in mining and the Ring of Fire.

The symposium continues Wednesady at the Valhalla Inn.
