Finance minister Bill Morneau has announced a pre-budget town hall meeting will take place this morning in Ottawa. It's expected Morneau will release the date and some broad details of the next federal budget. The budget expected next month will detail how much money Trudeau's new government will inject into the Canadian economy, how big the projected deficit will be and where the funds will be targeted.
