It starts to look like the road into the ROF will be build thanks to FN and their needs, not the other way around, like many have throught for a longer period of time. In matter of weeks one may wonder if the E-W road would have been done without FN needs and requirements as these stay on top of the Liberals' agenda. For just the mining business govenment would have left it to the private sector as we see happening for the N-S railroad initiative.
After so many years, business and politics start to become clear. Missed opportunities for the former central bodies in charge, suddenly a once-in-lifetime chance to serve 2 top goals on the political agenda at once. There is no better capital allocation for next week' budget round than this two-sided blade.
I have no doubt whatsoever that this is the way forward, at least the likelihood has gone up beyond the point of no return. Now please, hold your breath, otherwise a single Maple Leaf can change Ontario' future for the best.
Wish you the best of ratio, sensibility and lots of positive -empiric- experiences in the coming week towards the budget.
